Happy Christmas

why is christmas happy this year? number 1, i got an appreciation gift from church for using my place as cgm venue. number 2, i received the first log-cake i ever received in my life from siow ngea & jaclyn (bbg mbrs). number 3, i am celebrating christmas with my joey!!! joey is my baby girl who is coming soon next april.

christmas is indeed a time of giving and receiving. just only tonight, as i was preparing to go home after meeting my pastor to pass him somethings, i was blessed with a special christmas love offering of $200. then as i reach home, there was another gift waiting for me at my doorstep, a packet of cookie from the company that did our wedding montage. before all these during dinner, david (my only brother) gave us a christmas present, a full set of bedsheet and quilt. i have been longing to buy a new set for our bed for a long time lei. God is so good.

this lead me to remember just yest nite, as i was giving bs to 3 mbrs frm the zone, i was telling them the importance of God's word. we need to hear it, read it, memorize it, meditate on it, apply it. i shared about my own experience of hearing and reading of the word from Ps 34:7 "Delight also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart." i told the mrbs that by meditate on this verse for about 2 weeks, God finally let me understand the meaning of "delighting in Him". that simply means to spend time with Him, quality time fellowshipping in His presence and do whatever He delights me to do. then He will surely grant me the desires of my heart. simple? can lah, all of us can do it too.

so this christmas, what are we all desiring to have? i desire to have a good time with kessis and also to have a financial blessings so that i can bring her for a trip before she gives birth and got to be busy with the baby. my desire is that my wife will be happy and blessed and loved.
