Year 2006

another year is here. another year has passed. 2005 seems to pass by very quickly. many things has happened and changed. what have i learned in this year? what events had been the most important to me? what are the things i would like to forgive and forget? bear with me if you are reading, as i look back into 2005 and do some review.

one of the most stress years i had was 2005. becos it was my first year doing extreme sports for the youth conference in june. there is so many admin things to take care of and not to mention the numerous logistics to handle. not with help from klessis, my cg members and other people, i think i would have collapsed half-way.

in sept, something great happen. klessis started work in chc office. now we can finally go to work together, go home together, have lunch together. also becos of the same nature of work, we can help each other and understand each other's stress and tireness more. god is so good to the both of us. fulfilling our longest desire, to be able to work in church.

also in this year another super big news is joey. at this moment, kless is about 6mths pregnant. another 3-4mths joey will be born. this is going to be another stage of life for me. from birth to study to work to marriage to parenthood. how many stage have you gone thru? i can only give thanks to god to be able to go thru at least parenthood. joey, papa is waiting for you, you must be a god-fearing girl and grow strong in his word.

in dec, something major happened too. i have been under pastor lillian since the day i stepped into chc in aug 2000. now me and my cg has been transferred to pst chee kiang's zone. all the close friendships i had for the past 5 years, it's not easy to change so suddenly. i just want to thanks all the friends, leaders and members in previous LC zone. all of you have given me a lot of care over the past 5 years. looking at the bigger picture, we are still in the same church and i believe we will have chance to work together again.

so in 2006, what will happen? i do not know. one thing for sure, we are going to grow the church like never before. we are going to do more mission work. we are going to be more prosperous. we are going to have more breakthroughs.
also, more marriages. keng hoe & lixia. bruce & shaun. lester & joy. joseph & linying.
looks like 2006 is going to be another wonderful year.
